Dysis - 20cm

Dysis means 'a pleasing and excellent sunset' in Greek, which I thought was rather wonderful! I painted this on an Instagram live session in 2024.

Inspired by the vivid colours of a summer evening. Dysis is highly textured and catches the light beautifully.

Mixed media on a 20cm cradled wooden panel (2cm thick), varnished with a satin finish, signed on the back and ready to hang.
